Class Description:
At Art Pop, our fabulous Artisan Teachers are passionate about art and dedicated to helping kids learn and grow. They are eager to inspire and guide your child every step of the way, making sure each session is filled with fun and learning.
 
We’ve put together an exciting mix of activities, from painting and drawing to sculpting and mixed media. Your child will get to explore all kinds of cool techniques. More importantly, they will have a welcoming space during the school year, where they feel seen, heard and appreciated for their uniqueness.
 
Artist Teacher Bio:
 
Gracen Viveiros - Expressive Art, Mixed Media + Portraiture
As a portrait artist of 8 years, Gracen’s journey has led her to have passion in so many areas of the creative arts. She is a portrait artist and a writer, with a background in child development. That led her to being drawn to the importance of children and their free flowing expression.
 
Gracen guides her students through the intricate process of creating portraits and exploring mixed media techniques with them. She will also meet them at their skill level to develop their artistic abilities and most importantly express their creativity. In portrait sessions, she will delve into the nuances of capturing likeness and personality, focusing on their perspective of a face and facial features. She encourages experimenting with mixed-mediums, materials and methods. She wants them to convey their own artistic visions and not place them in a box. She wants their experience to feel free flowing and calm, and aims to inspire expression and confidence.
