Job Positions Open:
Art Camp Assistant
Salary: $18-20 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-12:30pm (with the possibility of staying until 2:00pm on busier days)
16+ hours/wk
Education: High School Education, College (a plus!)
Experience: Working with children: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification: Driver's License
Position Overview: The Art Camp Assistant helps create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for campers throughout the summer. This role supports the Camp Lead in facilitating daily activities, assisting children with projects, preparing materials, supervising transitions, and helping maintain a clean and organized studio space.
The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, and enjoys working directly with children. Successful Camp Assistants are comfortable jumping into activities, encouraging creativity, helping campers problem-solve, and contributing to a positive camp experience. A willingness to be hands-on, flexible, and enthusiastic is essential, as no two days at Art Pop are exactly the same.
This position plays an important role in helping children feel welcomed, supported, and excited to create each day.

Open Create Lead
Salary: $30 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 11:30am-2:30pm
12 hours/week
Start Date: June 29, 2026
A one-week paid training period will be provided prior to independently leading Open Create sessions.
Education:High School Diploma required
College coursework or degree in Education, Art, Child Development, or a related field (preferred)
Experience: 3+ years working with children in a classroom, camp, childcare, recreational, or creative setting (required)
Experience independently leading groups of children and families (preferred)
License/Certification: Valid Driver's License
Position Overview: The Open Create Lead is responsible for overseeing Art Pop's Open Create sessions, creating a welcoming, creative, and engaging environment for children and families. This role includes developing and implementing process-based and open-ended creative experiences, facilitating activities, assisting participants as needed, managing studio flow, maintaining a clean and organized space, and providing exceptional customer service.
The Open Create Lead will be responsible for planning age-appropriate projects and creative invitations that encourage exploration, creativity, and independent making while aligning with Art Pop's philosophy and mission. This position serves as the primary staff member during Open Create hours and helps ensure a positive, safe, and inspiring experience for all guests.
