In this hands-on digital art class, young artists will explore manga and anime-style character creation on the iPad while learning techniques used by real industry artists.
With guidance from professional illustrator Roger Andrews (SketchyGOichie DRAW), participants will learn how to:

Roger Andrews is a New Bedford MA based freelance content creator specializing in conceptual illustration with an expertise in character creation. Since graduating at the top of his class in the Commercial Art program from Butera School of Art (Boston, MA) in 1992, he has forged a successful 25-plus year career in advertising and product design business.
His impressive client list includes a host of the most well-known companies in the world, such as Hasbro, Puma, Toyota, Lucas Licensing, and Disney. In fact, if you’ve shopped for toys or video games at your local store or online you likely already own some of his toy and game designs. Additionally, Roger has focussed his expertise towards teaching aspiring art students Illustration on the college level at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
