STORYCRAFT: Looking For Good Things


Get excited! ArtPop is teaming up with artist-in-residence Skoshie & Friends (pronounced SKO-shee) for a special series of monthly events!

Each month will feature a different Skoshie & Friends character, book, themed craft, AND activity!
In May, our featured character is Skoshie the Cat and Book 1, “Strange Wild Beings.”

Starting at 3 p.m., author & illustrator Emely Varosky (the caffeinated creator behind Skoshie & Friends) will entertain kids with an energetic and interactive STORYTIME of “Strange Wild Beings” with a focus on the lesson of “looking for good things.”

Following the story, ArtPop’s very own Aylin will lead the kids in a fun CRAFT that ties into the lesson from the book —

Which the kids will need to complete, to help them participate in the super special SCAVENGER HUNT!
With the clues from the scavenger hunt, kids will be able to fill out a section of the Skoshie & Friends Map.

(Come to all the monthly events to fill out the entire Map and receive a special prize!)
