Art is the heart of this class—sketchbooks, creative projects, and hands-on exploration designed to help kids express themselves and reset after a busy school day. Breathing techniques and light stretching weave in naturally, giving young artists calm focus as they create. In this drop-off environment, kids start their week with confidence, balance, and the joy of making art.

Artist Teacher Bio
Gracen Viveiros – Expressive Art, Mixed Media + Portraiture
As a portrait artist of 8 years, Gracen’s creative journey has led her to develop a deep passion for many areas of the arts. She is both a portrait artist and a writer, with a background in child development—naturally drawing her to the importance of children’s free-flowing expression.
Gracen guides her students through the intricate process of creating portraits while exploring mixed media techniques. She meets each child at their skill level to help develop their artistic abilities while prioritizing self-expression above all else. In portrait sessions, students explore capturing likeness and personality, focusing on their perspective of faces and features. Experimentation with materials, methods, and mixed media is encouraged—no boxes, no pressure.
Her goal is for each experience to feel calm, open, and inspiring, building both confidence and creative voice.
